Safety

All of the rules of alpine ski racing have safety as a primary concern.  The equipment that athletes use, the way race courses are set up and the way that races are operated all focus on safety.

In accordance with Alpine Ontario, the Calabogie Ski Racing Club has established an Emergency Action Plan to guide volunteers, officials and coaches in the event of an emergency event.  Also, AOA has established a new policy regarding concussions and return to sport.
