Ski Racing In Canada

Regional (NCD/OSZ)

• Calabogie Ski Racing Club competes in a Regional Series of races with National Capital Division and Quebec Outaouais Ski Zone (OSZ) clubs including Camp Fortune, Upper Ottawa Valley, Vorlage, Edelweiss, Cascades and Mont Ste. Marie
• There are separate races for each age group; U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18
• Performance in this series is used to qualify for the Ontario Provincial Championships

Provincial and National

• U14 and U16 may qualify to participate in the Ontario Provincial Championships for their age group.  These may be hosted by any Division in Ontario,
• Depending on Provincial Championship results, athletes may qualify to participate in National and International races such as Can Am races and the Whistler Cup

FIS

• Usually after U16, athletes may choose to race at the FIS level.  This is a high level of competition and requires extensive travel in Ontario and Quebec as local FIS races are infrequent.
